Pipeline self-close safety Valve

Model No.: GDF-2

Short Description:

Model No.: GDF-2 Pipeline self-close safety Valve

The pipeline gas self-closing valves is a kind of valve in front of the stove. It is installed at the end of the indoor gas pipeline and before the gas stove or water heater. It has the functions of self-closing by overpressure, self-closing by underpressure and self-closing by overcurrent. When the pressure in the pipeline is lower than or higher than the set value, or the gas flow rate is higher than the set value, the valve can be automatically closed in time to prevent safety accidents. It is the preferred passive safety emergency cut-off device for indoor gas pipelines.

Function introduction

Overpressure automatic shutdown
When the pressure regulator at the front end of the gas pipeline works abnormally or the pipeline pressure is too high due to the pipeline pressure test performed by the gas company, the valve will be automatically closed because the pipeline pressure is higher than the set value to prevent the pipeline from leakage and being disconnected due to the high pipeline pressure.

Underpressure automatic shutdown
When the pressure regulator at the front end of the gas pipeline is abnormal, during the peak gas consumption period, the gas pipeline is blocked by ice, gas shortage in winter, gas stop, replacement, and pressure reduction operations, outdoor pipelines are damaged by man-made and natural disasters or other indoor emergency shut-off valves are closed. When the gas pressure is lower than the set value or the gas supply is interrupted, the valve will automatically close because the pipeline pressure is lower than the set value to prevent gas accidents due to leakage.

Overflow automatic shutdown
When the gas source switch and the front-end pressure regulator of the gas pipeline are abnormal, or the rubber hose falls off, ages, or ruptures, the aluminum-plastic pipe and the metal hose are electrically corroded and perforated, the stress change cracks, the connection is loose, and the gas cooker is abnormal, causing the gas in the pipeline to overflow. When the pressure is lost, the valve can be automatically closed to interrupt the gas supply.

1. In the normal gas supply state, gently lift the valve lift button upward (just lift it up gently, do not use too much force), the valve can be opened, and the lift button will automatically reset after you release it. If the lift button is not reset automatically, please manually press the lift button to reset it.
2. The normal working state of the valve is shown in the figure. If you need to interrupt the gas supply to the gas appliance during use, you only need to close the manual valve at the outlet end of the valve. It is forbidden to press the indicator module by hand to directly close the valve;
3. If it is found that the indicator module drops and closes the valve during use, it indicates that the valve has entered an under-voltage or over-current self-closing state (as shown in the figure). Users can conduct self-examination through the following reasons. For problems that cannot be solved by themselves, they must be solved by the gas company. Do not solve it by yourself, the possible reasons are as follows:
(1) Gas supply interruption or pipeline pressure is too low;
(2) Gas company stopped gas due to equipment maintenance;
(3) Outdoor pipelines were damaged by man-made and natural disasters;
(4) Other indoors The emergency shut-off valve is closed due to abnormal conditions;
(5) the rubber hose falls off or the gas appliance is abnormal (such as air leakage caused by abnormal switch);

4.If it is found that the indicator module has risen to the highest position during use, it indicates that the valve is in a state of overpressure and self-closing (as shown in the figure). The user can conduct self-inspection through the following reasons and solve it through the gas company. Do not solve it by yourself, and press down after troubleshooting The indicator module restores the valve to the initial closed state, and the valve can be opened by lifting the valve lift button again. The possible reasons for overpressure self-closing are as follows:
(1)The front-end pressure regulator of the gas pipeline works abnormally;
(2)The gas company conducts the pipeline operation. The pipeline pressure is too high due to the pressure test;

5.During use, if you accidentally touch the indicator module and cause the valve to close, you need to lift button to reopen the valve.
